Molly Speir is an artist based in Aberdeen who is currently making work about the body’s relationship with its environment, looking specifically at art exhibition spaces and how the body interacts with them in unseen and intimate ways, drawing similarities between the way our skin soaks up moisture and the way breath can seep into plaster walls and papers and porous objects. They are interested in how this pushes the boundaries that often limit viewer interaction with artworks.
